Your First Visit, Step-by-Step
Know what to expect at your first visit to Moore Dental Center in Parkersburg, including how your care plan begins.
1. Before You Arrive
Complete your new-patient forms in advance when possible. Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card if you plan to use insurance, a current medication list and any questions you want to discuss. If another office has recent dental records or X-rays, ask our team whether they should be transferred before your appointment.
2. A Thorough Introduction
Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your dental and medical history, current concerns and goals. Your clinical evaluation may include an examination, oral-health screening and diagnostic images based on your needs and any usable recent records.
3. A Plan You Understand
Dr. Moore will explain his findings in clear language, answer your questions and discuss appropriate next steps. If treatment is recommended, our team can help you understand scheduling, estimated costs and available payment options before you decide how to proceed.
